Field Service Management Platform

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Subscriber", "you", or "your") and Son Security Systems (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2020/123456/07, trading as FieldMaster X ("FieldMaster X", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the FieldMaster X platform and associated services ("Service").
By registering for an account, clicking "I Agree", or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including administrators, technicians, and any other individuals who access the platform under a subscriber account. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your organisation where applicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice within the platform. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us at support@fieldmaster-x.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for ensuring that all users you add to your account (administrators, technicians) comply with these Terms. You are liable for the actions of your users on the platform. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep your account information up to date.
You must not share your account credentials with any person who is not an authorised user of your organisation. Each technician must use their own individual login credentials.
FieldMaster X offers the following subscription plans: Free Trial (6 months, no charge), Basic (monthly billing, per-seat pricing), and Pro (monthly billing, per-seat pricing with AI features). Current pricing is displayed on the FieldMaster X website and within the platform under Settings → Billing.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on the billing date. You are billed for the number of active admin users and active technician users in your account at the start of each billing cycle. Archived or deactivated users are not billed. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. Late payment may result in suspension of the Service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; you will not receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of the period. After cancellation, your account and all data are retained for 90 days. If you do not reactivate within 90 days, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. We are not liable for data loss following this retention period.
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are exclusive of VAT. Where applicable, VAT at the current South African rate will be added to your invoice.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
All intellectual property rights in the FieldMaster X platform, including the software, algorithms, user interface designs, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to Son Security Systems (Pty) Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
You retain all rights to the data you upload or create within the Service ("Subscriber Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and transmit your Subscriber Data solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service. We will not use your Subscriber Data for any purpose other than delivering the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant that any specific feature or function will remain available for any particular period.
GPS location data, AI recommendations, SLA calculations, and predictive maintenance outputs are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for operational decisions. We are not responsible for decisions made based on data generated by the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Son Security Systems (Pty) Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you to us in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription as described in Section 4. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if: (a) you breach these Terms; (b) we are required to do so by law; or (c) we determine at our sole discretion that your continued use poses a risk to the Service or other subscribers.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 of these Terms survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape, South Africa, unless the parties agree to resolve the matter through alternative dispute resolution.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from any court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the primary account holder and by in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the effective date of the changes.
